Life has been a little crazy lately. Well, crazier than usual. I'm going to school part-time as a baking and pastry student, working 3/4 time as an office manager in a real estate office, and performing motherly duties for my 19 month old daughter full time and my 18 year old son on an "as needed" basis. Let's just say I have my hands full.
Things are about to slow down a little and become more simplified...I hope. I'm transferring schools, resigned as office manager, and will be spending more time at home working on ramping up my real estate, cake and children's decor businesses.
This isn't really whats making life complicated. What's doing it is the fact that my daughter has been sick since January {that's when she started daycare}. I swear she goes from one virus right to the next with very little down time. Actually, I did get to have my sweet little girl back for 2 whole weeks before getting sick again and becoming the tiny, two legged, crying machine that wants to be held 24/7, doesn't sleep only the nights that I have to be up at 5am the next morning for school, throws up in my car as I'm dropping her off at daycare on my way to work, and has been pretty consistent on coming down with new and improved illnesses on Friday's {I'm pretty sure my boss thinks I'm full of crap}. My poor peanut butter {insert big sigh here}.
Spring break is in 1 week. I'm taking off and heading to mom's for some much needed mom time...and grandma time, too. If you're in La Grande next week come see me! I'll either be in the kitchen sipping wine through a straw out of the bottle or outside sleeping in the horse trailer. Isla will be sleeping in the house with grandma and grandpa {another big sigh}.
Wish us luck!
Ciao!
